Quite an eventful week for the power sector in Myanmar with the announcement of new electricity tariff for customers, the issuance of tender documents for five rental projects as well as the appointment of a new managing director of the Electric Power Generation Enterprise (“EPGE”) .

Charles is a lawyer qualified to practice in Paris and educated in France, the United States and China. He has extensive experience in Southeast Asia where he has worked on a wide range of energy and infrastructure projects, as well as on regulatory reforms, notably on PPP projects. He is currently advising a wide range of sponsors on renewable and non-renewable power projects.

Sandar is a graduate of the University of Southern California. She has experience in working at a real estate firm on land acquisition issues. She assists the Energy and Infrastructure team with clients on land due diligence and supporting senior staff member with negotiation and explanation of power project agreements to local authorities.
